These certified nursing assistants are also called home health care aides and nurses aides. The work of these people is to assist patients with daily fundamental and living tasks. Location

There are various places where these certified nursing assistants work. You can see them working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, mental health hospitals and nursing homes. Some of them can be even seen in the residence of the patients assisting them.

CNA Job Description

The basic job of these people is to help patients get dressed, get in and out of bed, wash and brush their hair and bathe them. They also serve meals to the patients and help with eating also.

Further responsibilities

Some additional responsibilities include helping patients to walk to the bathroom, assisting them to get enough exercise, escorting them to the examination halls and making beds and keeping the room healthy.

Helping other nurses

Another task of certified nursing assistant (CNA) is to assist other registered nurses with checking the patient’s condition, keeping them informed about all the important information regarding vital sign and other factors.

Love and support can cure some diseases which medicines can’t so they provide emotional attachment and support to the patients to instill positive feeling in their mentality.
